SWEET SPOT VILLA AND GROUNDS
Located on a wide sandy beach, Sweet Spot is like a pretty jewel box next to the sea. Its remarkable location is the best of all worlds... a private home with a huge lawn and beach while just 200 yards from the first class resort, Breezes, for golf, tennis and more water sports. Sweet Spot guests may purchase day or evening passes to participate in all Breezes activities.

Interiors at Sweet Spot are brightly furnished and cheerful. The DSS satellite system in the pretty yellow living room offers hundreds of television choices including news, sports, movies, family and children's programming plus several music stations. French doors open wide from each room to the lovely ocean view. All bedrooms are air conditioned. However, you may wish to leave your doors open at night to hear the waves lapping on the beach.

The large lawn is trimmed in colorful hibiscus, bougainvillea, shrimp flowers, oleander, banana trees and stately coconut palms. The lawn is a great playground for badminton, croquet and volleyball ... or merely napping in the hammock in the shade of the beautiful Cassia Fistula tree (also named Golden Showers for its cascading bunches of yellow flowers).

Beyond the lawn is the 10,000 square foot beach, clear water and excellent reef just 50' offshore. Sea kayaks and snorkeling equipment are complimentary. As a special evening treat, the staff will plan a poolside barbecue... with chicken, ribs, chops, fish or lobster ... or a nighttime bonfire on the beach.

Sweet Spot has its own wine cupboard. Guests may order from the Wine List. Discounted prices range from $15 to $65 per bottle for good labels from California, France (including Moet et Chandon Champagne) and Italy.

If you've left your pets behind, be advised that Sweet Spot is home to two lovable Black Labrador-Golden Retriever mix dogs. If you wish, they can be kept in their large kennel behind the house and allowed to run only at night so they will not disturb you. However, if you enjoy them, they'll run with you on the beach and romp with you in the sea. They are gentle, well-behaved and love guests!

Sweet Spot is 46 miles east of Montego Bay (75-minute drive), 5 miles east of Discovery Bay and 35 minutes west of Ocho Rios.

King-size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub-shower combination, bidet. French doors open to brick terrace, pool and lawn. This is the only downstairs bedroom.
