SERENITY VILLA AND GROUNDS
Serenity is one of the most beloved and often revisited villas on Jamaica's beautiful north coast. Its prize location is a waterfront acre 8 miles west of Montego Bay on a stretch of seascape that Travel and Leisure Magazine has called "the Jamaican Riviera."

In Caribbean-style architecture, spaces are uniquely defined by airy octagonal gazebos with high rafter-and-beam ceilings. Pretty blue and white fabrics and cool marble floors are throughout. Each bedroom opens to a sitting area for private afternoon naps and all-day gazing over a captivating view of the Caribbean Sea - practically at your doorstep.

Eye-opener coffee trays are silently presented outside each bedroom door while guests are still asleep. Morning walks down the long beach are energizing. Sunset beach walks are beautiful. Nighttime walks to the point reveal the sparkling lights of the town of Montego Bay, across the water.

Four bedrooms and livingroom are connected by the long furnished verandah with marble floors and pickled wood ceilings. The verandah adjoins the pool terrace, where cool drinks and evening hors d'oeuvres are served under the Jamaican sunset.

Just beyond the verandah and pool, a terraced walkway leads to the outdoor shower, lower waterfront terrace with chaise lounges ... and the beach and sea almost at your doorstep. If you linger on the lower terrace at night, you may see the local fishermen carrying their torches and laying nets... a very lovely sight. If the night produces a good catch, they’ll return early in the morning with fresh fish to sell to the Serenity cook for tonight’s dinner.

Serenity shares a private tennis court with the neighboring villa, Tranquillity on the Beach. (Bring your own racquets and balls.) Combining Serenity and Tranquillity creates an nine-bedroom compound with two swimming pools, tennis court, long beachfront and staff of ten. For additional accommodations, the third beachfront house here is Noble House on the Beach which accommodates eight or ten more guests. This eight-acre private beach compound is a favorite for weddings and family reunions.

If you've left your pets behind while you take a vacation, be advised that Serenity is home to two lovable gentle dogs. If you wish, the Serenity pets can easily be boarded by the staff quarters.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Three air-conditioned 400-square-foot bedrooms are equal in size ... soft and romantic ... with Ralph Lauren wallpapers. Six softly-curtained French doors open from each bedroom to the long verandah and view of the sea just steps away. Each night, the sound of the waves lapping on the beach lulls guests to sleep. The smaller 4th bedroom is located between the Master bedroom and Bedroom 3.

Bedroom 4 for convenience of parents and children.

                                     A louvered window also opens between these rooms. Parents or Nannies can adjust the louvers to stay open or closed in the night. Bedroom 4
