SEASIDE COTTAGE AND GROUNDS
Seaside Cottage is an adorable private home at famous Round Hill. Its exquisite location provides one of the most spectacular views in the Caribbean. This sweet villa is hidden away from the awareness of others ... yet only minutes from all amenities of the prestigious Round Hill resort ... this intimate villa is the ultimate for a romantic honeymoon, anniversary or relaxing escape.

Interiors are designed around a unique blend of specially commissioned Balinese and Jamaican furnishings and original art. Floors are cool Italian tile. While meals typically are served alfresco in the poolside gazebo, guests also have the option of the indoor dining room .A state-of-the-art telephone system in every room enables laptop and internet connection. Intercoms enable easy communication among all bedrooms, kitchen and staff quarters. DSS televisions are in each bedroom (all viewable only on the same station simultaneously.) All rooms share a breathtaking view over the ten-mile stretch of azure sea that separates Round Hill from the town of Montego Bay ... a panorama beyond description day and night. From the pool terrace, an expansive lawn sweeps down to the sea. Guests can swim and snorkel from the coral rocks in the clear water here (rubber shoes recommended.)

Rise early to catch the visual magic of a Jamaican sunrise kissing the landscape with color and light. After a morning swim and breakfast, relax on the furnished poolside veranda. Here, both under roof and open to the brilliant sunshine, are sofas and chaises for sunning, reading and napping ... or merely reveling in pampered relaxation. Indulge in the bubbly hot tub with a rum punch under a Jamaican sunset before a delicious home-cooked candlelight dinner in the gazebo. After dark, the lights of the town of Montego Bay twinkle from far across the water, adding nighttime magic to this romantic hideaway.

For more activity, take a seven-minute walk down a tree-lined lane to Round Hill Hotel and Beach Club. Shuttle service is available if you prefer a two-minute ride to the beach.

While totally private and self-contained, Seaside Cottage shares 10 acres with its sister property, Hillside Cottage ... an older but much-loved 4-bedroom villa 100 meters uphill. The two villas can be rented together for a marvelous eight-bedroom compound with two swimming pools and a combined staff of 10. Dinners can be served to all guests at either property.

While Seaside Cottage welcomes families, a refundable damage deposit of $1,000 is required for occupancy by children under the age of 18.

Bedroom 1:
Free standing room overlooking the sea. King-size bed; doors to private terrace and superb ocean view. En-suite tiled bath with indoor shower and the piece de resistance - a fanciful open-air outdoor shower with gorgeous ocean and Caribbean view day and night!.

Bedroom 2:
Down outside stairway below Master Bedroom. King-size or twin beds at guests' option; en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

Bedroom 3:
King-sized bed; French doors to pool terrace; superb ocean view. En-suite bathroom with double sinks, tiled bathtub with louvered windows on 3 sides. In main house.

Bedroom 4:
King-sized bed; French doors to pool terrace; superb ocean view, fanciful hand painted four-poster bed. En-suite bathroom with double sinks, bathtub and separate glass block shower. In main house.

ROUND HILL HOTEL & BEACH CLUB
Enhancing the unique privacy and luxury of Seaside Cottage is its proximity to fashionable Round Hill Hotel and availability of all resort amenities. Spend days on Round Hill's sandy beach with open-air bar and water sports. Play tennis on the hard-surface courts, lighted for night play and with pro on call. Exercise in the fitness center (treadmill, free weights, rowing machine, guided aerobics) and run the jogging trail. (Charges apply to lessons and ball boys) Browse through the boutiques and gallery. Enjoy the piano bar, shows and Continental cuisine in the highly-rated hotel restaurant ... and sunsets to remember for a lifetime. For additional charges, members may enjoy the spa, Pineapple Kids Club, a range of water sports and parties (Monday beach party, Wednesday Caribbean Curry Night, Friday Jamaica Night!) Here too is the Business Center with high-speed broadband stations and printers. (Internet access is billed at $13.50 per hour or $22 per 24 hours for guests to connect their own laptop. Both rates attract 8.25% tax.)
